DR. ALLISON DI SALVO
Chiropractic Physician, Soft Tissue Specialist, Owner
Dr. Di Salvo is the owner of and treating physician at The Body Remedy. She is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Bates College, and Andover High School. At Palmer she was the valedictorian of her class. She has also received extensive training and certificates in Active Release Techniques, dry needling, and kinesiology taping. She has been a lifelong athlete, playing competitive soccer and basketball and rowing crew through high school. She continued to row throughout her time at Bates, eventually becoming captain of the team her senior year. She suffered a season threatening injury while rowing at Bates that opened her eyes to how much she relied on her body and how important it was to take care of it. It was then that she decided she wanted to help others who had found themselves in a similar predicament.

Since graduating from Palmer College, she has worked in the Merrimack Valley as well as in the Boston Financial District as a chiropractor specializing in soft tissue injuries and dysfunction. She has experience working with marathoners, ultramarathoners, triathletes, Iron Man competitors, baseball players, hockey players, rugby players, yogis, Crossfit enthusiasts, rowers, and fitness instructors to name a few. She has also treated the less obvious athlete including hairstylists, teachers, gardeners, and moms and dads. She has worked on ailments from head to toe. As she has gotten older, she has realized that many adults live with mild to moderate pain on a daily basis as if it's normal. However, this is not normal! So, while Dr. Di Salvo still loves working with athletes participating in high intensity activities, she also loves working with people who just want to make it through the day without discomfort.
Her goals for you are 1) avoid pain and injury utilizing appropriate recovery measures available to you at The Body Remedy and 2) if injury does occur, get you pain free as quickly as possible WHILE keeping you moving.

When she's not at work, Dr. Di Salvo loves spending time with her family - her husband, Patrick, three year old son, James, and dog, Darla. Together, they enjoy spending time with extended family and friends, going for walks, and testing out new restaurants. Dr. Di Salvo's favorite hobby is gardening. She has quite a large flower garden in her backyard. Currently, her favorite workout is a cardio strength class at the gym. Her guilty pleasure is watching The Real Housewives.
DR. LINSEY ROTH
Doctor of Physical Therapy, Pelvic Health Specialist
Dr. Linsey Roth is the treating physical therapist and pelvic health specialist at The Body Remedy. She is a graduate of Tyngsboro High School, Rivier University, and the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Franklin Pierce University. She has also obtained certifications in functional strength training, dry needling, manual therapies, postpartum care, and evaluation/treatment of women’s pelvic health conditions. Linsey was a three sport varsity athlete in high school, and continued her athletic career at the Division III level playing for Rivier University’s Field Hockey and Women’s Basketball programs. She was a two year captain of the Rivier University Field Hockey Team and upon graduation returned as an Assistant Coach for multiple years. Linsey currently is the Tyngsboro High School Varsity Field Hockey head coach, and assistant coach for Rivier University’s Women’s Lacrosse team.
Since graduation, she has worked as a physical therapist in the Merrimack Valley and Essex County treating a range of orthopedic, women’s health, and neurological conditions. Linsey has found a specialty in treating athletes and active adults who are experiencing pains, pelvic symptoms and injuries that prevent them from doing the things they love to do. She enjoys treating those stubborn pains from head to toe that limit people from being their strongest self. Dr. Linsey utilizes her experience in strength training, sport nutrition, and coaching to better serve her patients needs by taking a holistic and active approach to rehab no matter what age you may be.
She became interested in a specialization in pelvic floor therapy when she realized that there was a massive gap in access to healthcare for active women like herself who are experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction. Linsey found herself experiencing pelvic pain and dysfunction at a young age, and underwent multiple surgeries and procedures for her condition of endometriosis. She is able to use these experiences to further relate to women living with pelvic floor symptoms who just want to get back to living a normal, active life. Linsey has experience treating pelvic floor conditions and symptoms including pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, chronic constipation, pelvic organ prolapse, stress incontinence, urge incontinence, urinary frequency and urgency, diastasis recti, leakage, postpartum return to sport/activity, birthing prep, symphysis pubis dysfunction and more.
When she is not working, Linsey enjoys being active, taking road trips, spoiling her two kittens Kiwi and Ziggy, spending time with friends/family, and recently found a love for thrifting. If you are into reality TV, she is always looking to gossip about new episodes and shows.
